A Little Bit About Me
I'm an academic scholar by profession (but don't take myself too seriously...) I love dusty old books, walks in the park, being in the sunshine and breathing in the smell of freshly mowed grass. I love world cinema, in fact I'm an avid consumer of anything with subtitles. I'd say I'm pretty easy going and definitely don't sweat the small stuff. And on the topic of small stuff... a bit of trivia about me...

I used to eat chalk as a kid. I've traveled to five continents in the last five months. I've had all my wisdom teeth pulled out. If I had to be in a bathroom with either a spider or a cockroach, I'd choose a spider. I'm learning to sing. I don't have a bucket list but if I did getting The Ghan train through the Australian desert would be on it. I like cricket but still don't understand what a googly is :/
